Innisfil Veterinary Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant!

Position Details

• Role: Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: $18 - $20 per hour 
• Schedule: Rotating between 9am - 4pm & 11am - 7pm Monday through Friday. Alternating Saturdays 9am - 1pm

Are you passionate about pets, people, and providing exceptional care? Innisfil Veterinary Hospital is seeking a friendly, motivated Veterinary Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate and dedicated team.
Our Client Service Representatives (CSRs) are essential to the success of our hospital. You will work closely with Veterinary Assistants, Registered Veterinary Technicians, and Veterinarians to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience for both clients and patients. What You’ll Do

• Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism
• Manage phone calls with excellent etiquette and empathy
• Perform front desk and administrative duties
• Support the veterinary care team as needed
• Maintain accurate records using veterinary software
• Process financial transactions and appointments efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for people, pets, and preventative care
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-focused environment

Experience (Preferred)

• 1+ year experience in a veterinary clinic
• 1+ year experience in customer service
• Experience with Avimark veterinary software is an asset

Hours & Availability

• This is a full-time position requiring open availability during:
• Monday–Friday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (rotational)
