Pet Emergencies
Find treatment fast.
At Innisfil Veterinary Hospital, we have a dedicated veterinarian and personnel available six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care needs your pet may have. Our emergency team typically consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can include situations such as snail bait poisoning, car accidents, or chocolate ingestion. If you believe your pet requires emergency treatment, please do not hesitate to call (705) 436-2000 or come in immediately. If possible, it's best to call ahead so that a team member can provide guidance on your specific emergency.
Additionally, we understand that there are situations where urgent care is needed but the condition is not life-threatening. In such cases, our veterinarians will do their best to accommodate you and "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. Upon arrival, our receptionists will provide you with an estimate of how long you may need to wait before being seen. Your pet's well-being is our priority, and we are here to provide the care they need when they need it.
